Intro Work

Just the last part of the intro, the full intro is around 40 seconds long. It is mostly based on the TopGear intro sequence and also includes silhouettes of the presenters. Hoping to finish the intro by next week as I don't have much spare time due to exams. Peace out.

Development of the First Episode.

 First Episode Preparations.

We have had a lot of issues to sort out, as does any project on its first outing. Fortunately almost all issues have been resolved and work can now focus on creating content. The episodes created pre-GT5 release will be known as TopGame Prologue as we are restricted to using GT5:Prologue and sub standard equipment. When GT5 is released we will have many more tools available to us and thus TopGame will improve significantly. TopGame Prologue is pretty much a set of pilot episodes to prove the concept works and gain some feedback and practice. The 'Hot-Seat' is on the top left, complete with 'hi-tech studio lighting' (View from the hot seat). This is where the guest interviews will be set, discussions are ongoing as to where the show will be set. There is a lot of refining to do in almost every part of the process but we shall see how it goes (Something that requires a little 'refining').

Episode 1.

We are aiming for between 15 and 20 minutes of content in episode 1, split into two HD YouTube videos. In he first episode: TopGame's intro sequence is revealed, Robert tests the Evo X, John tests the Jaguar Coupe, G tests.. something and we have our first ever guest setting a lap round our track! We actually can't wait to see this project off the ground, however there is a lot of work to do between now and show time. Expect Episode 1 in between 3 and 4 weeks time. See you then!

TopGame Has Begun!

Hey, Robert Fisher here. Just thought I better post one useful post explaining what the hell this is all about. Enjoy.

The Idea.

TopGame was born in September 2009 (2009 logo to the right, top) when Robert Fisher and John Houston (two massive Gran Turismo fans) thought it'd be cool to merge their favourite TV show and video game, TopGame was just a twinkle in the eye back then. How hard could it be? Play some video games and review cars, simple right? 4 months later and around £600 out of pocket (2010 logo to the right, bottom) plans are being laid for the first episode.

Preparations.

After a team was formed, consisting of three presenters, a myriad of not-so-famous guests and a guest film producer, microphones were dug up from lord knows where (The Mic!), HD cameras 'borrowed', crash courses in photography, editing, acting, scripting and directing were taken, set arranged, technical issues ironed out ('issues' shown to the left), and a few test films were made (phew). TopGame was ready to roll!

What to Expect?

In the first episode we have three road reviews, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, Jaguar and another car, and our first guest and time round our track! Be sure not to miss out! Fisher Out.
